Club Membership

To become a member of the South Plains Obedience Training Club, you must attend at least two monthly meetings (not consecutively) and earn 20 points toward membership by assisting at various club events, such as competitive trials or outreach opportunities.ā€‚

Our club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the training facility (5222 Marsha Sharp Freeway). Meetings begin around 7:15 p.m. and usually last about an hour. You will hear updates from the board regarding recent and upcoming events and have a chance to participate in individual “brags” by sharing your recent canine (or human) accomplishments.

You will meet like-minded friends who love to share about their dogs. Refreshments are served and several times a year we host special events at our meetings like our annual Awards Celebration (March), Ice Cream Social (June), BBQ Pot Luck (August), Hallowoof Party (October), and Christmas Party (December).

Benefits of membership include discounted class fees, use of the training facility, and participation in club member special events and awards. Cost of membership is $35/yr for an individual membership and $40/yr for a family membership.

You may obtain more information about membership by attending a meeting.
